The Church Stretton Radio Control Model Club (CSRCMC) is a small friendly group of model flyers. We operate from a newly aquired flying site near Church Stretton at Alcaston. The site is yet to be developed but is suitable for hand launch and models that can take off from a rough patch.
The club was originally formed by a group of model glider pilots who mainly operated off the Ragleth Hill, since then the interests of the club have diversified and the LMSA is now the club recognised by the National Trust to represent model glider pilots operating from the Long Mynd.
The farmer that owns the land is in the process of developing an area at the bottom of the field, it will have a large shed to store timber and the approach will be made solid enough to support large lorries.
